Don’t Give Up on Your Goals
How are your New Year’s resolutions coming along? Still hitting the gym and eating your veggies? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
But before you give up on your goals, remember that establishing new habits and breaking old ones is hard. It takes around 2 months to retrain your brain.
Also, going “all in” on a new habit is likely to end in failure and relapse (in my case, no screens after 9pm). Instead, start small and work towards achieveable milestones, (no screens after 9pm twice a week). You’ll feel a bigger sense of accomplishment and less desire to quit or “break the chain.”
